I spent a fascinating afternoon at the Autry Library last week. The library is part of the Autry National Center Institute for the Study of the American West, or what we in L.A. call “The Autry.”
The library has a very nice collection of Starrett-related items. There are a great number of photos, some posters and lobby cards, and some books and press-kits.
The staff is friendly, accomplished and helpful. I am particularly indebted to Marva R. Felchlin, who is the Director of the Autry Library..
